Ricksoft Recap on Atlassian Summit U.S. 2017

I’m delighted to report that we had another great Atlassian Summit – full of fun, enthusiasm and new discoveries!

New branding and product keynote

Ahead of the event, Atlassian unveiled their new branding, including a new company logo. It looks simple but elegant. We think it will be really popular.

As with every Summit, there were plenty of useful keynotes and sessions for participants to take in. Most of these are available online. I recommend all of you watch the Product Keynote recording here. It’s more than two hours long, but well worth watching. It covers pretty much everything you need to know about Atlassian’s product lineup :

Ricksoft helps project managers

We at Ricksoft showcased our add-ons for Atlassian Jira and Confluence. We hope these are of interest to anyone looking for ways to make their project or content management easier.

WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira visualizes your Jira issues in WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and Gantt chart format. It also enables you to manage the human resources in your project simply and effectively.

We made the UI/UX of this add-on very similar to Microsoft Project so that you can use it as an alternative to Microsoft Project if you wish.

Excel-like Bulk Issue Editor for Jira gives you a built-in spreadsheet editor enabling you to update multiple Jira issues easily just as you would in Microsoft Excel.

Alfresco connector for Jira/Confluence is a simple way of connecting Jira/Confluence with Alfresco’s content management system. Seeing Alfresco attachment files has never been easier with these connectors.

A big thank you to everyone who visited and met with us at Summit. We look forward to seeing you all again at the next Summit!
